我們的信仰
本會信仰共有七個要點：
- 我們信： 永遠常在獨一無二之真神，是宇宙之大主宰，人類之父親，是聖父、聖子、聖靈三位一體。
- 我們信： 耶穌基督是不能看見之神的表像，是神的獨生子，有完全之神性，由童貞女馬利亞藉聖靈感孕，道成肉身生而為人。死在十字架上，替人贖罪，並身體從死裡復活，升上高天坐在父神右邊，為新約中保，為教會元首，為天上大祭司。代聖徒祈禱，將來必親自顯現，從天再臨設立國度，審判活人死人。
- 我們信： 聖靈是三位一體中之第三位，當五旬節，降臨在教會中，使聖徒在基督裡合為一體成為教會，他使人知罪悔改重生，使聖徒得勝成聖。
- 我們信： 人是按照神的形像樣式而造者，因深陷於罪而喪亡靈命，因罪惡之權勢而敗壞沉淪。人若不重生，就不能進入神國。惟有信心接受救恩，靠基督寶血洗除罪污，藉聖靈大能得著新生命者，便可靠著聖靈之內住作成得救之工。
- 我們信： 人不論信耶穌與否，都必復活，信者得享天堂永生，不信者必受地獄之死。並且天堂地獄，都是實際而永遠者。
- 我們信： 新舊約聖經，皆是神之言語，由靈感而來，顯有神之權威，是活潑生命之道。
- 我們信： 魔鬼是自始犯罪者，是管轄此幽暗世界掌權之君，是現今在悖逆之人心中運行的邪惡，是惡之根源，善之仇敵。
國際基甸會（香港）
香港分會
國際基甸會於 1956 年，先成立香港分會，並陸續在不同地區，成立了香港，香港島、九龍、大埔、沙田及西貢、屯門、元朗共七個分會。 自 1956 到 2015年，基甸會在香港派出的聖經超過 200 萬。
成員及經費
- 基甸會由熱心愛主的專業人士或商人組成，他們自費參與基甸會所有事奉。
- 經費由教會或個人奉獻，所有收入只用作購買及贈送聖經。

Gideons International is a Mission Partner for local churches. We are an interdenominational association of Christian business and professional men. We reach people who have no contact with churches and bring them to the Lord Jesus Christ.
You Can Be Our Mission Partner:

Growing in Christ
Each month, Gideon brothers will meet and discuss about the Gideons’ ministry.
We read God’s word and pray especially for Hong Kong. Most importantly, we encourage one another to grow in Christ and become a faithful witness to our Lord.
Distributing Bibles
We distribute FREE Bibles to hotels, hospitals, prisons, medical centers, universities, and schools.
If you are an educator, a hotel administrator, or a hospital or prison chaplain, and would like to have Bibles for the people you serve, you are most welcome to contact us.
Sharing Vision
Our members are businessmen and professionals dedicated to saving the lost through personal witnessing and the distribution of God’s Word.
We are happy to share in your church about souls saved through the work of the Gideons International. We will also share how your church can become our Mission Partner.
國際基甸會
分享聖經、分享見證
有沒有在酒店的房間，見過基甸會的聖經？有沒有想過這些聖經是誰放置？為甚麼放置在酒店裏，更歡迎客人取用？
１８９８年秋天，美國威斯康辛州的尼克森（John H. Nicholson）到達一間旅館下榻。但因客滿，店主建議他與一位另一個客人，也是來自威斯康辛州的希爾（Samuel E. Hill）共用一間雙人房。
同心合意
原來尼克森在十九歲時，曾應許臨終的母親每日讀經與祈禱，多年來已養成習慣，兩人不久即發現彼此均是基督徒，於是在房中一同晚禱。當他們跪著祈禱時，上帝就賜給他們一個心願，要為主做事情。
尼克森和希爾在１８９９年五月卅一日相會，同意聯合基督徒旅行商人，以互相認識、個人傳道及一同服事主為目的，決定於同年七月一日在傑姆士維爾基督教青年會召開成立大會
行神旨意
結果，只有尼克森、希爾、及奈茲（Will J. Knights）三個人出席。雖然如此，他們仍然組織起來，選希爾為會長、奈茲為副會長、尼克森擔任書記兼會計。他們跪下祈禱求神啟示後，奈茲站起時宣稱：「我們應稱為基甸會。」基甸是一個遵照上帝旨意行事的人，不計較成果。勇敢、謙卑、信心和順服，構成他偉大的品格；這亦是基甸會希望在每一會員身上樹立的品格標準，在任何時候、任何地方、任何途徑，都應遵照聖靈的指引，行出上帝的旨意。
初期的基甸會會員幾乎全是旅行商人，先考慮到的問題，是如何在旅館中為主作見證。有人建議在每一家旅社的櫃台處放置一本聖經，讓客人隨時可以借閱，當基甸會員離去後，這本聖經仍能在旅社中繼續默默地作見證。
１９０７年十月十九日在芝加哥舉行的理事會會議，慎重考慮了這項建議；一位理事更進一步建議基甸會在美國各旅館的每一房間中各放置一本聖經，他補充說：「在我看來，這不但是會激勵一般會員的活動，而且將是極為良好、並符合基甸會神聖使命的活動。」此項計劃於１９０８年在肯塔基州路易士維爾舉行的會員大會中被接納。
教會支持
值得注意的是，就是教會奉獻金錢支持基甸會事工，是由一位牧師發起的。１９０８年路易士維爾年會閉會後兩個月，在愛阿華州舉行全州會員大會，美國總會總幹事法蘭克加力克（Frank Garlick）與摩耳先生（A. B. T. Moore）參加了一次傳道人聯合會的集會，他們的節目過後，加力克弟兄向牧師們介紹基甸會的事工，他提及極待實施的贈經計劃。他十分鐘的談話結束後，摩耳先生所屬教會的牧師勃克他博士（Dr. E. R. Burkhalter）（第一長老教會的牧師）起立提出臨時動議：「讓基甸會聖經得以放置在各地每一家旅館中，經費由傳道人聯合會負責。」此動議經在場的牧師一致通過，並委派專案委員會按各地教會的財力分配其應負擔的金額。
從此，基甸會的事工就被視為教會之一隻「伸出的宣教膀臂」，教會也就這樣開始在經濟方面支持聖經贈置的事工。基甸會為此讚美上帝，因為祂彰顯祂的計劃，讓地方教會和基督徒們供應所需之款項。
國際基甸會的事工

♥全球超過30萬基甸會會員和他們的妻子（內助會員），在全球超過200 個國家，11900地區分會。
♥單單去年，全球就分發了超過8千萬本聖經。過去15 年，派發了超過十億本聖經，比之前90年累積的更多。在中國共派出 300 萬本，單單去年就超過 30萬本。
♥每一秒的時間，有1.8 人死亡；每一秒的時間，基甸會送出了2.5本聖經。
♥我們分發一百萬本聖經和新約，只需要每4天。
♥要分發全港700 萬每人一本聖經，只需要一個月。

Distribute God’s Holy Word • Winning Others for Christ
The Gideons International started distributing the Word of God in 1908. Today, we have more than 300,000 members—and an untold number of supporters—in more than 200 countries across the globe. These dedicated individuals give their time and money to make it possible for others to learn about the love of God by giving them access to His Word. In fact, we have placed or distributed more than 2 billion Bibles and New Testaments around the world. Around the World . . .
♥ There are over 300,000 Gideons and Auxiliary members (wives of Gideons) in more than 11,900 local groups worldwide.
♥ Approximately 2 billion Bibles and New Testaments have been distributed worldwide since 1908, and more than 750 million Bibles and New Testaments were distributed in just the last 10 years.
♥ More than 81 million copies of God’s Word were distributed last year.
♥ On average, more than two copies of God’s Word are distributed per second.
♥ Over one million Bibles and New Testaments are distributed every 4 days.

Gideons Hong Kong
Hong Kong Camps
In 1956, the Gideons International founded the Hong Kong Camp. Since then, the Kowloon Camp, Taipo Camp, Shatin and Sai Kung Camp, Tuen Mun Camp, Hong Kong Island Camp and Yuen Long Camp have been added. As of August 2014, the cumulative total scriptures distributed in Hong Kong were close to 2 million.
Funds for purchasing Scriptures
- Through personal contributions and bequests from Gideons,
- Through offerings taken at the time of reporting in churches locally and overseas, mail in donations and the Gideon Living Memorial Bible Plan.
